Teen Ministry

The Sacramento Metro Church Of Christ is committed to helping the future of our children.  As our children grow up, change, and experience more freedom, they encounter many experiences in life that help build and shape their character.  There are many influences that compete for the attention of our children.  We want to ensure that we help our teens by equipping them with the proper influences and teachings to help them make good decisions in life.  We definitely believe that one of the most powerful and positive influence on our children is the family.  With the increased peer pressure of the world and surroundings, teens are sometimes left on their own to combat the negative influences and decisions about such things as drugs and sex.  It is prevalent through the music and other things that vie for their hearts.   This is an age where they will begin to learn how to make the decisions that will have lasting impact on their future.  Using the Bible as the primary foundation in though provoking Bible studies, we help better equip them to learn the value and practical application of the Bible. There are many theme-based activities that let them have lots of fun throughout the year while fostering memorable and lasting friendships that help shape their character through the positive influence of God working through the Bible.

Pre-Teen Ministry

As our children grow towards their teen years, we are excited about the class that we offer for our pre-teens. We have a strong commitment to ensure that not just the adults, but also to our kids. With lots of energy and heart, our pre-teens have “loads of fun”, while getting exposed to the teachings in the scriptures as they relate to them. When parents attend the worship service, one can be confident that our pre-teen teachers will be helping our kids learn about God and the great teachings in the Bible, while building memorable moments for our children.
